As the principal charity for the Royal Navy, Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) are great at looking after others, but needed a bit of help when it came to taking care of their tech. ITEC stepped up to introduce cost-saving, digital solutions. Top of the list of priorities were the charity’s spiralling print costs and unsecure, unorganised way to manage documents.
As part of ITEC’s Technology Managed Service, printing at RNRMC has been transformed. The hordes of desktop printers are long gone, and in their place is a fleet of state-of-the-art MFPs. These have been installed with smart software to reduce waste and improve security. The digital overhaul also included setting up an intranet system so that all documents could be accessed from one place with ease.
By working closely with the team at RNRMC, ITEC created a bespoke, holistic service that addressed each and every sticking point and enabled the charity to better achieve its mission.
The service has seen RNRMC achieve impressive results that save money, improve security and reduce the amount of waste, while also making life easier for staff.
