A VISION FOR VISIBILITY AND REMOTE WORKING

GA Solicitors is an innovative, regional law firm with more than 200 years of heritage. With eight specialist departments, it provides expert legal advice to both businesses and individuals. With client service at its core, the firm ensures high quality advice, practical assistance and a genuine interest in the success of its clients.

Back in 2019, before working from home was commonplace, GA Solicitors wanted to make remote working possible for all employees.The firm also saw the value in employees being able to work more flexibly, to better suit modern lifestyles, and they wanted to make it a reality.

The trouble was, most employees worked primarily from a desktop PC and there was none of the necessary infrastructure in place to enable ‘working from anywhere’. A forward-thinking strategy was needed. When team members did work from the office, there was no system in place to log them in - and visitors had to sign using a visitor’s book. It was time for a modern approach to ‘signing in’.

INTRODUCING DIGITAL WORKSPACE TECH

To enable all employees to work from home - or from anywhere - ITEC sourced and supplied 65 brand new, top-of-the-range laptops. The team also carefully designed a new Mobility First infrastructure to meet the exact business requirements of the firm. 

ITEC Engineers created a bespoke Digital Sign-In system for staff and employees that has streamlined guest registration, tightened data and physical security, and improved health & safety protocols (including enabling Track and Trace during the Covid pandemic).
